SU London’s library partner is Birkbeck Library, located right next to ULU!

The library is quiet, has lots of windows allowing for natural lighting, has ample quiet study space, and is equipped with wifi. We encourage students to make it a regular study spot.

From Monday, 21 January, come see SU London staff in The Academic Office or SR 103 if you are interested in signing up for the use of Birkbeck Library. You will need to complete a short application form and then we will work with Birkbeck on the production of your library card.

Syracuse will cover the subscription fee for you to join Birkbeck Library only if you apply with us by the following deadlines:

Thurs 24 January by noon
Thurs 31 January by noon
Thurs 14 February by noon

Membership at Birkbeck library allows you use of all onsite facilities and collections that the library holds (but no borrowing privileges). However this does not include research databases: for those SU London students have full access to SU’s electronic databases available at http://library.syr.edu/ (see next section).


Syracuse University Libraries

All SU Abroad students have remote access to Syracuse University's libraries and we encourage you to use this resource, where searchable databases, catalogues and journals are all available. The Architectural Association

Students in the SU London Architecture Program are automatically made student members of the AA, and have reference-only rights to the AA’s library. For more information and opening hours, please go to the AA's website.
