Eray Çaylı (Architecture program)

Eray Çaylı is currently completing an interdisciplinary PhD at University College London (UCL), which has involved a collaboration between anthropology and architectural history. His research investigates the legacy of sociopolitical violence through the built environment, and studies the role of destruction in shaping cities and their architecture. Alongside working on his PhD, Çaylı has taught across UCL on various subjects, including the architectural history of London, and object-based and interdisciplinary approaches to communicating knowledge.
