Ishan Cader (PSC315/HST300 Politics & Media: Mass Persuasion)

Ishan Cader has a PhD in International Relations from the University of Sussex. His research focuses on the genesis of the advertising and public relations industries in early 20th century United States, exploring the relationship between radical artists and these industries as they sought to visualize and articulate capitalist hegemony. Dr Cader teaches courses on International Political Economy, International Relations Theory and Politics and Media. He has also worked as a radio documentary producer and is an organiser of community education programmes designed to improve economic literacy.
