Living Arrangements

SU London reserves eight flats that consist of two or three bedrooms with two occupants per room. The apartments are furnished, including a television, fully-equipped kitchen, dining table, and washing machine. Bed linen is provided, but students will need to provide their own towels. Utilities (i.e., gas, electricity, and water) are included as part of the rent and there is wireless Internet provided on a quota basis.

Cleaning/Maintenance: The apartments and bed linens are cleaned weekly. Apartment maintenance is provided including, but not limited to: plumbing, heating, appliances, and fixtures and there will be a 24-hour emergency contact.

Rules/Regulations*: Smoking and overnight guests are prohibited. For additional rules and regulations, please consult pages 11-12 of the Housing Accommodation Agreement [PDF, 314KB].

Student Liaison

One of the bed spaces is reserved for a student liaison, which is similar to a residential advisor. The liaison serves as an important link in the communication network between fellow residents and the London program staff. The liaison is selected based on past resident advisor or camp-counselor experience, maturity, and the ability to handle responsibility. There is full confidence in this person to represent the pre-arranged housing students and their needs.

For more information about pre-arranged housing, please see the SU Abroad websiteŽ, or contact Caitlin Jarvis at SU Abroad.

*All students are expected to adhere to the SU Student Code of Conduct. Failure to do so can result in disciplinary action.
