Brighton is one of the UK’s iconic beach towns, made fashionable by the Prince Regent (later King George IV), who spent a lot of time there and built the Royal Pavilion in the Regency era. In 1841, railways were built that allowed the city to become a popular destination for day-trippers from London. You can be one of them during this trip! Today, Brighton is particularly well known for its diversity and quirky shopping and arts scene, and is unofficially nicknamed ‘Britain’s Gap Capital’.
