LEEDS CASTLE

“The loveliest Castle in the world”, Leeds Castle is surrounded by 500 acres of parkland and a glossy lake. In its past, the castle has been a Norman stronghold; the private property of six of England’s medieval queens; a palace used by Henry VIII and his first wife Catherine of Aragon; a Jacobean country house; a Georgian mansion; and an elegant early 20th century retreat for the influential and famous. In the 21st century, it has become one of the most visited historic buildings in Britain – and this semester, you’re invited to join its visitors.

If you would like to travel to Leeds Castle on Friday 21st February, keep an eye on your Syracuse email for details about how to register on Eventbrite. Spaces will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis! This trip will lend itself to a Culture reflection to earn a stamp in your London Passport.
